Will the U.S. experience be the same?... The Low wage working class working for nothing after getting a college education...
I think most colleges prohibit firearms on campus.

Easier to pay under the table and clear the site when inspectors come around to check.

Everyone seems to think the only jobs illegals are doing is picking fruit and berries on farms...

No everyone does not think the only jobs the illegals take are picking fruit. The intellegent people know the truth and the liars on the left supporting illegal immigration also know the truth but they see illegal immgrants as Dem voters so the propaganda continues. The illegals have taken a vast amount of factory job, construction, housekeepers and restaurant jobs.

If we deported all the illegal immigrants wages would rise as you shrink the labor market. Businesses would have to offer good wages and benefits to get the employess they needed.

The only places we would ever see any type of uprising would be in the liberal cities where the respect for the rule of law is of less value.

And, of course, there are no liars on the right who are encouraging cheap labor to come to our country.

Keep dreaming.

Absolutely true. But it wouldn't be liberals fighting against the rule of law but rather against opression. These Egyptians revolting right now are not conservatives. They are liberals. They are sick of making two dollars a day. They are sick of Mubarak magically winning elections by a 9 to 1 margin.

Cuba is a good example of conservative cowardice. As soon as the going got tough, the rich swam to Florida.

No, it won't come to the US. The government could start randomly killing people on the street, and Americans wouldn't leave the couch.

I just wonder which riot control technologies will be employed the next time around. We've already seen sonic weapons being used to disperse crowds. Heat-based weapons are already in riot control arsenals. But that may just kick the can down the road. If people are prevented from expressing their anger openly on the streets, will they just give up and go home, or would they turn to more subversive and individualistic acts of violence, such as we saw develop in Iraq a few months after the invasion?

Well, if they are anything like Egyptian businessmen they will have their private jets ready and won't suffer a scratch.

I guess Dubai was built for multiple reasons..one of which is a safe haven for the rich.

Live blog 29/1 - Egypt protests | Al Jazeera Blogs
12:32am Reports say that 19 Egyptian businessmen on private jets arrived in Dubai after leaving Cairo's airport.

Do it during a final round of Dancing with the Stars and they won't even hear the helicopters or bullets.

I think these protests will happen in London and Paris before they come to any city in the United States.
