If conservatives were always making public expressions of violence and deaths of liberal politicians or political figures, then I might understand why liberals were concerned about public civility.
The play, which was presented at the Missoula Children's Theater in Missoula, Montana on January 23, was a production of Gilbert and Sullivan's 'The Mikado.' But the play's director decided at the last minute to add a bit of 'humor' to the production by including a scene which called for the beheading of Sarah Palin.
IMHO - If you call for the death of another, even in jest, and that person dies in violence, you are an accessory to murder. As much as I support free speech I also insist the speaker be responsible for the effects of that speech.

One correction, this actually occurred in the the Missoula Community Theater, not the Children's Theater.
Whew! And I was thinking about taking a vacation in Montana. Did this really happen? It is a little hard to believe. If she had been the president they could be put in prison. Vote for Sarah Palin and send these people to prison.
Good grief! Hello.......The Mikado is a political satire!! Ko-Ko (the Lord High Executioner) reads off a list of people "who would not be missed". It's tradition, and has been since 1885. I notice there is no outrage about the other Missoula politicians and celebrities on the list? Every production makes up their own list, as they have for 125 years. I see it's only offensive now that it's the Alternate Universe President of the US.

X3 epic fail thread continuing to echo the ignorant republican "stereotype".
