Why are so many people obsessed with heath care INSURANCE, and wanting to force everyone to buy health care INSURANCE and subsidizing the cost of health care INSURANCE? The big problem is that the cost of health care has spiraled out of control. Health care INSURANCE has probably been the single greatest contributor to the increased cost of heath CARE, though I bet that frivolous & stupid lawsuits are pretty close. Why not focus on eliminating the waste & corruption so that we can bring down the cost of health care? That way, normal people can afford thier routine health care, and can spend far less to purchase insurance for the stuff that isn't routine?
Now that would require common sense. Go after the fraud, open competition across state lines and deport all the illegal immigrants that have literally closed some hospitals because they could no longer afford to continue to treat them.
If she chooses to buy smokes and beer instead of healthcare that's her business. When she dies we will also assist in her funeral. But that still doesn't make it right to force her to pay for a government plan when she chooses to live the life of a POS (do we really think she will pay this?). Why force me to pay more for those who have this attitude? Why force anyone to pay? We cannot regulate human behavior; this woman will never be anything more than she already is. But if by some miracle she does chose to change her life we have programs in place that can help her up and can help her on her way. The major factor here is she has to choose this not be forced into it.
Besides, she already has a free healthcare plan it’s called Medicaid. Is it like mine? I hardly think so but then again I pay through the nose for a really nice plan. As a matter of fact, if I were to drop my healthcare (insurance) plan I could get a really cool huge SUV ($700 a month?) and pimp that mofo out, but I chose to invest that money in my health and not how cool I look . (That jab is for those who have big car notes but little healthcare plans)

There is no reason for people like her to pay for their insurance......because the cost of their unpaid ER visits is folded into our premiums and they walk away scott free. We are ALREADY paying for people who could afford insurance but don't feel like buying it......and you like it that way?

If we had a real Congress, as opposed to a Congress made up of 85% criminals and thieves........if we had a real President, as opposed the last two clowns we have had in office; they would have saved this country a ton of money (in tax payers money), a ton of time and a ton of effort; Beforehand, by knowing the law, knowing the constitution and would have created and structured a real Health Care policy that accomplishes, solves problems and is full of real solutions.
Instead, we got the usual corporate-interest-based stall tactic Bill, designed to bog down the system, create distractions from the real issues at hand and drag through the courts; while the criminals in Congress and in the White House continue to screw the American people and steal from us.
If we had intelligent, honest, integrity-laden Politicians in Congress and in the White House, who had honest good intentions; they would have done this the right way and took lengthy precautions to avoid all this nonsense.
