As long as they obey the laws and don't try to force their religion on other people I have no problem with their numbers increasing. They're just like all other Americans, there's good and bad.
Yeah but "force their religion on other people" is kinda their mission statement.
According to the Qur'an, they are to covert every living human to Islam.

The New Testament says that Christians should do the same thing.
Yet not all Christians follow the Bible literally, just like not all Muslims follow the Quran literally.
That's what happens when you go from a Christian nation with morals and traditional family values to a Europe-like atheistic sex-obsessed society. Doesn't regconize the lord Jesus Christ that got us out the depression and back to a working class society. We feel ourselves a bit after 50+ years and think we did it all ourselves. Pfft. This country is going to Hell.
Yeah, this country was just the moral center of the universe when women were kept in the kitchen and hoses were turned on black people because they wanted equal rights. The world has NEVER been a good place, and this country was no better 50 years ago. This whole "society suddenly collapsed in the 1960s" nonsense needs to stop. That didn't happen. In modern times, people have always been more or less, the same...
I often consider this viewpoint as being legitimate.
Whats changed is OUR awareness via mass media, social interaction, etc.
Yeah, exactly. I mean, when something horrible happens, people see it on the news and are like "Oh, what a horrible world, why can't it be like it was!?". Most the horrible things that happen today, happened hundreds of years ago, its just that there wasn't a camera documenting it and throwing it up for the world to see. Its just the old "out of sight, out of mind" thing...

I just posted a comment in another which is just as relevant here...
It used to be said "seeing is believing". The post-modernists turned that into "believing is seeing".
An example of this would be a racist (of any variety) who looks at the past centuries as being glorious; the people, the governments, the morals, mannerisms, etc. The individual's belief system narrows their vision and their awareness (though intentionally) just as much as the individuals of yesteryear were (unintentionally) ignorant of what was in the world. Ultimately, however the world was, is, or will be, people will see in it what they so desire with their hearts as opposed to what it actually IS.
I don't give a damn as long as they do not try to impose their stupid muslim religous mores on everyone.
I feel the same way about christers.

50% divorce rate;
Highest prison population in the world;
Wars in the middle east where we kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
We push out own citizens into homelessness and poverty.
There's no proof of a jesus fellow ever existing.
There's no proof of a god thing.
You're always free to leave the country, or work to change it, if you don't like it.
Ever been to Europe?
I live here and I see absolutely no evidence of your assertion.
Turn off the TV, think for yourself.
Again, I don't think things are anywhere near as bad in the US as they are in Europe, but part of me does want to know what the results of such a poll would be if taken in the US.
