So infertile straight couples should not be allowed to marry either?

most infertile straight couples do not know it until after they are married. And anyways, they could always adopt a child and have a NORMAL family that has a loving mother and a confident dad.

I'm not saying I'm against gay people having a civil union, I was saying why is there at least 4 new topics EACH week on the same subject? It's getting old, only if the gay people starting the topics had other interests than their chosen sexuality fetish.

That has a 50% chance of ending in divorce, because that is the norm? I see.

If it's so tedious, why bother posting in these threads then?

What makes you think that gay people are starting these topics? Don't you think it could be some of us that want equality for all people?

What an ignorant statement. I can't believe you're being serious.

People who are homophobic are hypersensitive to discussions about gay topics. They see one gay-themed topic, and they panic. Their terror-stricken minds tell them, "Look! Those homosexuals are taking over! Oh my god!!" Don't worry, though. Lots of people in America suffer from the same affliction. They should consider therapy.

Data from the 2000 US Census :

45.6 percent of married heterosexual partners are raising children
43.1 percent of unmarried heterosexual partners are raising children
34.3 percent of lesbian couples are raising children
22.3 percent of male gay couples are raising children

With posts such as the above, however, it doesn't look like parents have reached that level of intelligence just yet. Need some more time. The under 40s are increasingly more accepting and socially mature than the behaviorial socialists that masquerade as "conservatives."

Now that you've finished insulting me, can you tell me why anything I said was factually wrong?

As for PC/gay fascists trying force their perverted values on other's children because they don't like the ones these children are taught, OK, just don't come boo-hooin' because people think you're disgusting, dangerous and gay adoption is a bad idea. Dress your arguments up in tolerance all you like, but everyone knows the real reason children are the primary targets of gay propaganda is they lack a fully formed intellect such that they would immediately recognize one man inserting his erect penis into another man's rectum as unnatural, unhealthy and disgusting.

I do believe that homosexual tendencies are something people are born with. But, therefore, it is out of the norm of human anatomy and physiology, thus giving it mental deficiency status.

Homosexuals argue that their sexual preference is not a choice. And I agree with them. I believe that they had these tendencies from birth. That would then make these tendencies, which are out of the norm, a mental deficiency. You cannot have it both ways!

I think it's the word marriage that gets people all hot under the collar. When you think of marriage, you think wedding, wholesomeness, black (usually) tuxedo, white (usually) dress... so people think if 2 women or 2 men get together, what would it be? 2 tuxes? or 1 man in a tux the other in a dress? People don't like to imagine beloved traditions possibly being made into a mockery. Note I said possibly so that nobody jumps on me saying that I'm declaring a same-sex union definitely would be a mockery. I'm saying some opponents likely think it could be. Anyway, I'm responding to the first post only. I don't wanna read 48 posts. Maybe if the word union had been originally used, there wouldn't be such heated debate. A misstep from the get-go, in terms of wording.
