"Business managers are worried about the "uncertainties'' headed into 2010, Bartiromo suggested - cap and trade, higher health-care costs, higher taxes:
"Will we see higher taxes in 2010?''
I haven't read anything to say that companies are not hiring because of orders.
Taxes will not be going up for anybody making under $250k... They aren't "going up" anyway... Bush tax cuts will expire... not "go up"... there's a difference...

It doesn't matter what you call it, businesses are going to pay more in taxes and that is a job killer.
"If the tax cuts do expire, the top rate for business owners will increase from 35 percent to 39.6 percent. For a business that brings in about $400,000 a year, that's about $12,000 more in taxes and for a business with income of $2.5 million, taxes would go up about $108,000."
In a time when business taxes should decrease, to encourage hiring, there's a possibility that they will increase. Look for the unemployment rate to stay above 10% until at least Obama's term is over, cause he has no clue or experience in the economy or business.

The is nothing more than a propoganda play by businesses. After each recession for the last 20 years the number of jobs has not come back to their former levels. Corporations find they can do more with less and pocket the cash in profits and then outsource jobs.

It shouldn't make a difference if taxes go back to their former levels... It's just an excuse to not hire or create jobs... They just want to pocket the change and discredit Obama for cutting taxes for the middle class...
Good article - thanks for posting. I've done some work in the wire-drawing industry - it looks like a simple process but the complexities are actually mind-boggling.

Yeah... Except why didn't they do this 7 years ago?...

I do... Businesses... should keep their mouth shut and pay their taxes like everybody else...
