ALL the jokers that are supposed to do something about it spent more than they took in, too. If they can't manage their own money why do they think they can manage our money?

"The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee starts the 2012 election cycle still carrying $19 million of debt after a brutal election cycle that saw Republicans pick up 63 seats and reclaim the House majority. The National Republican Congressional Committee reported $10.5 million in debt in its year-end filing to the Federal Election Commission."

Who cares. The point is that neither party is capable of managing the country's finances. Campaign finance debt....national debt....its a culture of debt that we live in. It's best to make sure your own doorstep is swept clean before you start complaining to the neighbor about theirs.

This is why I believe we need to be able to see their own personal fiances. Mainly credit scores. Not asking to see their bank statements or what not. Have they themselves ever defaulted on a loan. Are they responsible with their own money to be trusted with ours

$19 Million to the RNC's $23 Million in debt. Both show that they will do anything to get into power.

But the OP's assertion that the DNC is irresponsible obviously has their head in the sand when comparing the RNC to the same petard.
