I don't think you fully understand the concept of terrorism. Of course more people are killed in car accidents than terrorism. that is the point of terrorism. To have spectacular events that kill many people at once. If they had more sophisticated weapons i.e. a dirty bomb, they would use it. Terrorism is war by other means, it is kind of shocking that there are some folks who still don't get it. They will when they are subject to it.
That terrorism works by making people disproportionally scared is not under dispute. The question is if Islamic terrorism is a significant security threat. It would appear that they have managed to land a sum total of zero attacks against the USA in the last ten years. They managed an attack against London that closed the tube for the day, a strike that was less disruptive than the average weekends line repairs. It would seem then, that the threat is a relatively minor one. The police should continue to investigate potential criminals and arrest them where needed.

No one is arguing that the police should stop arresting people/investigating them. These criminal actives cost money and lives, like other criminal activities. But thats hardly a reason to be worrying about empires spreading from Algeria to Indonesia is it not?

Zero attacks? What was Fort Hood? Not to mention we have a huge anti-terrorim apparatus in the US now which is quite effective. At least our government acknowledges we are at war.

They have shown they are patient, 9/11 was 10 years in the planning.

It ain't a police matter, as I pointed out terrorism is war by other means. You are mistaking the concern that they will reach their objective for the means that they will use in that attempt. I don't think anyone seriously believes they will acheive a caliphate, but serious people believe they will use every means at their disposal (chemical, biological, nuclear) to try.

One thing we learn from history is that we never learn from history.

Beck is right. But we are to PC to offend.
The Egyptians are revolting with one of their own dictating their lives. I doubt they will stand for having a foreigner dictating their lives either.

Glenn Beck is in the business of selling fear. Don't buy it. Well, fear and gold. Don't buy either.
Yea.

Gold has only doubled in value since Beck became a sponsor.

As far as selling fear, don't believe everything you hear.

Beck is the first to tell people EVERY NIGHT not to take his word for ANYTHING he says. Research things for yourselves.

He's been correct on most of what he talks about.

He researches things and doesn't shoot from the hip.

Maybe instead of commenting, you may actually know what he's talking about.

Glenn Beck appeals to the primitive, reptilian fear center that seems to be dominant in the brains of too many people. Why you listen to a word he says is beyond me, but he's getting rich off of it, so he's not going to stop any time soon.

Oh and by the way what makes you think this whole protest in Egypt was started by people "looking for freedom"?
Why should i expect the Brotherhood to be kind to me? Especially seeing as how my tax dollars supported their American backed dictator for 30 years.

And i don't give a damn as to who started this protest. That's not my business, nor is it yours. The bottom line is that they're protesting, and demanding something better for themselves. What YOU want isn't important.

Probably already been mentioned, but that IS what the Muslim Brotherhood wants,it is their goal.

The Muslim Brotherhood's goal, as stated by Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna was to reclaim Islam’s manifest destiny, an empire, stretching from Spain to Indonesia

They're muslims, of course that's what they want. Not very likely, though.
