The "Patriotic America Citizens" of this nation must "Wake Up" before it becomes another Britian ... Insane Multi-Culturalism has without a doubt all but erased the vast greatness of these once proud and tremendously resolute British Isles !!!

The acute madness of so many of the Brit Career Politicians has truly been the cause of Englands undoing !!!

There was immigration and movement of people in Europe for centuries.
Oh you could go back even further than that, back to the 5th and 6th centuries when first the Angles then the Saxons arrived.

Ironic really when you think most "British" are now known as Anglo-Saxons

Don't forget the Normans in 1066

The concept of British "culture" as it is today is very much rooted in the imperial legacy of the late 19th century. That culture certainly exists but I wonder if it hinders Britain's ability to adapt to a post-imperial reality. Last night of the Proms is a good example of that "imperial" cultural hangover.

I think what Cameron was really targeting was Muslim extremism and I think he makes a good point. That is why he highlights the importance of Britain's liberal values in his speech. To quote ........

"Frankly, we need a lot less of the passive tolerance of recent years and much more active, muscular liberalism,"

(that one should get the neo-cons frothing at the mouth)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-12371994

In other words, it is the willingnes to challenge religious extremists rather than staying quiet for fear of "offending".

Thought I would include this for all you imperialists ......

This thread is super funny. Folks take the words of the British GM, twist it, imply the twisted version has anything to do with here, and draw conclusions from their twisted version. He says "we failed to put a vision of a society they want to be a part of." What part of message do you fail to understand? Some of you behave as if he said something like assimilate or gtfo. That is not what he says.

People don't do that so much anymore. You're blind if you can't see that.
What is your definition of a real American?

We should listen.

I believe he's right. We have made the same mistake. We have become a society of feel gooders who, on the surface, wants to make everybody happy. In reality, we have lost what we held most dear; unity as a whole, brought together under the words: "One nation, under God".

People used to come here wanting to be American. For a while now, people come here wanting to be Mexican, Chinese, or whatever, in America. That's not what diversity is. It's acknowedging and celebrating differences, but as a whole, we should still be one and we're not.

People don't want to be American anymore. They just want to live here.

What do you all think?
Apparently they weren't worried about it when they were expanding their empire around the world.

As usual the politicians are roaring ahead out there....miles behind the populace. Better late then never.

Awesome, you fought, you won. Great, now You in the backseat getting taken over by some phantomised being in your head. You needs to get over it!.

And i shed not a drop of tear over that!

You make it out that caucaisian (europeans) have a monopoly on what is acceptable for them and what is for different people.

If your forefathers came here to conquer the indians, why cant anyone else do it without weapons without any process of annialating you?

We cant have one rule for one and another for the rest, can we?
