The only part of the show that was worth a hoot was the 3 seconds Slash was onstage.
Someone needs to slap Fergie for even thinking about trying to yodel Guns n Roses.

Loved the halftime show but the sound was terrible. It's tough to beat a live performance by the Peas. I also could have done without the two references, one to education and the other to jobs. But it was only because I knew right wingers would freak out, even thought the comments were benign.

Not my favorite song, before or now--but fwiw what I heard was "Obama, let's get these kids educated"--not especially pro- or anti-Obama, just pro-getting kids educated.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Slash was a treat to see. I hadn't heard anything about him appearing.

I really could have done without cousin it Rappers use
other people's songs a lot - that's the back drop.

I loved the Eminem commercials too
Especially the Chrysler 300 imported from Detroit

The 3 seconds Slash was on was the only time there was any talent onstage.
The Peas were so out of tune that Autotune couldnt even help them!
And they were using it, lol

I said I liked the commercial - the animated one was funny,
self mockery. I thought Eminem in his hey day was excellent rap wise, and I do think he has grown up.

I don't know about the folks in Detroit, I don' t live there -
but I feel sorry for the city/state - that's why I liked
the "imported from Detroit" one. I didn't see the two "gay" Dorito commercials - they must have scraped them.

Screw the Black Eyed Peas and Christina Aguilera. The fact that Ozzy Osborne and Justin Bieber appeared in the same commercial together was more than enough to convince me of the pathetic state that our entertainment industry is stuck in.
