You're one of the few right wing posters here that will just put out these lazy lies and still expect to get away with them....LOL

I've lived in Europe so I think I know what I'm talking about.

Your little graph there is pretty meaningless. It's talking about GOVERNMENT expenditures and not PERSONAL expenditures for health care.

I wouldn't send my dog to a British (NHS) socialized medicine hospital.

Lies huh?

Quit peddling this bull! Have you ever talked to anyone from Europe, UK, or Canada about their wonderful government health care?

Many die before receiving needed treatment. Is that really what you want here?

It would cost far more than what you are paying now, in terms of taxes and loss of liberty.

You people that want everything "free" better ask, "Who's paying for it?", because it's for damn sure somebody is.

Further, if this is ever revived here, there will be a shortage of doctors, because most doctors have said they will quit.

For all the hateful rhetoric people like you have spewed toward Sarah Palin and other conservatives who have exposed this vile scheme by the Obama administration and the Democrats for what it is, to say nothing of the fact that it is unconstitutional (and for that reason now declared void, thank God), we now know that everything they have said about it is accurate, including the "death panels", bureaucrats who would decide who would necessarily have to be cut from receiving care because of their age and their diminishing "benefit" to society.

"Socialist" isn't just a slur. Find out what it means.

Sorry, I choose Freedom! If you want socialism, move to a country that has it. I hear Venezuela is nice. You might want to investigate. Alternatively, many of your liberal friends say Cuba is a great country. Go, and have a nice life!

If the graph was talking about only "government" expenditures ( which it is not) that would make the cost difference only worse.....LOL

Since Europe provides their healthcare via the goverment and the US is 80% private insurance.....LOL

Are you on drugs?

"Socialist" by itself is an incomplete phrase. It should always be followed by "pig" or "swine" or other more-descriptive term, eg "Obama is a socialist pig", or "Progressives are just a bunch of socialist swine".

Oooooh!....The Europeans have it soooo bad!

That's why their health care systems are ranked higher than the US way of doing things now.

Is that why it's titled:

Heath Care Expenditures as a share of GDP ???

If you can't even grasp what the graph is showing, you shouldn't be posting it.

Somebody explain to this dolt that comparing both private/government health expenditures to GDP does not mean that they are excluding private costs.....I'm done wasting my time.

"This image depicts the total health care services expenditure per capita, in U.S. dollars PPP-adjusted, for the nations of Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States with the years 1995, 2000, 2005, and 2007 compared."

That has been totally DEBUNKED long ago.

It weights the results according to how much people have to pay.

Obviously, since we have PRIVATE health care, where we pay for it, any country where the government pays will rank high.

It's got nothing to do with the QUALITY of health care in the USA.

If our health care is so bad, then why do so many heads of state travel here for their treatment? Why do so many Canadians cross the border for our hospitals?
