Providing that he lives long enough, Ron Paul could eventually give this nation the shot in the arm it so sorely needs by becoming President.

I won't write Paul off just yet.

Reagan began stumping for that same top spot clear back in 1962, and he didn't become President until the people woke up and listened to what he had to say.

Where would you get the money from? Social Security is 7.7 trillion. Medicare is 37.9 trillion.

Mitt Romney's problem is his failed past political policies. He is a RINO, for large government, government run health care (failed Romney-care), and infringement against the Constitution (see 2nd Amendment and Mass. gun bans).

Those who know the Constitution would vote for Ron Paul this time around. Sadly, not enough Americans know, understand, or value the Constitution, personal liberty, and personal responsibility. Too many partisan sheeple who vote their pocketbook instead of voting the Constitution.

Frankly stated, Ron Paul does not have enough charisma to run in this American Idol society. He does not perform well in timed debates and he does not deliver his message in a strong convincing/inspiring manner. The best hope would be running Rand in 2016 if people want a Constitutionally based Paul philospohy in the WH.

This country cannot suffer another term of the bumbling Obama. I don't know that we can survive until his term ends unless the House GOP becomes much more convincing to their collegues in cutting spending and reigning in the out of control federal regulatory agencies.

Romney would never get the support of enough conservatives and libertarians.

Ron Paul's biggest problem are the statist leaders of the GOP who don't want him anywhere near the White House.

I just wonder what happened to all that "money bomb" money Ron Paul received from the Alex Jones followers last time he ran? It was in the millions. Will Ron do the same this time around, raise funds and then back out with all that cash?

With enough funding (which I don't think would be a huge problem for Ron) and enough grass roots support (which clearly isn't a problem for Ron) he could destroy the Obama machine in it's tracks. Ron Paul is the epitome of grass roots and his supporters don't have to be paid to get out and vote. The Tea Party that everyone attacks today started with Ron Paul supporters long before the 2008 election and we need his type of thoughts and plans more than ever. Ron Paul pisses off Democrats and Republicans in DC equally because he proves that they're both full of it and need to be removed.

Ron Paul spent millions before backing out, have you ever actually looked at the Ron Paul campaign finance reports?

Leftover funds from his 2008 campaign went to fund the Campaign for Liberty.
