Yup, typically when you see members of Congress resign and wonder why they are resigning over something which doesn't seem to be a big thing, quite a bit more comes out afterward. Think Eric Massa last year. Not to mention the Craigslist "dating" sites have wound up to be more along the lines of escort services and Prostitution rather than dating, who knows where this might be headed.

We won't know until more comes out, but I highly doubt he would resign (and don't think he should) over being married and having shirtless pictures on a dating site. Something more is likely going on.

How dare him act so liberal.

The liberals should welcome him to the fold.

He didn't need to resign. He could have changed party affiliation and he'd have been welcomed with open arms.

In fairness, there are also the emails on the Gawker site which show that he was trying to hookup with a woman, and falsely claimed that he was divorced. That's some pretty shady crap.

But yeah, I'm sure he doesn't want the media to do any more digging. I mean, if Vitter can stay in office (and win reelection!) after further digging found out about his diaper fetish, this guy probably has some cobwebs he doesn't want anybody finding out.

I'd much rather have a POTUS getting a BJ in the Oval Office than plotting a needless, costly war of choice that's of NO benefit to the US.

Look what they're all up to behind closed doors. What a laugh.
Must be something in the water in NY. This congressman's district is next to Lee's.

"Democratic Rep. Eric Massa will resign from Congress on Monday, only days after reports first surfaced that the freshman New York lawmaker was under investigation by the House ethics committee for allegedly sexually harassing a male staffer."

I would rather they resign than try mincing words like what the meaning if "is" is.

GOOD! The Republican party needs to get rid of any slime ball in their party. I hate anyone that would put their family in the public eye and then bring down disgrace on their heads.
