The garments, which were deemed 'crude' and 'tasteless' by critics, bore puns across the chest that played on traditional stereotypes of the Irish.

One read 'Irish I was Drunk', and the other 'Party Like You're Irish' with a picture of Snoopy holding a mug of root beer.

'We are removing all units from the stores and online as soon as physically possible.'
Judy Corcoran, who was one of the first shoppers to complain about the T-shirts told CBD News she was stunned that major brands can get away with sustaining such stereotypes.
I am not Irish but
Anyone Irish consider these offensive?

I am now ashamed to say I am Irish. I never thought of the Irish as being whiners. What the heck has happened to them? I don't find them offensive and anyone that does needs to go see a shrink.

I'm Irish, and Southern.

If someone wishes to call me a drunken redneck, I don't care. I'll tell them to buy me another beer.

If its not true, then what the hell does it matter. Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me.

Whats next "kiss me, I'm Irish"? Hell I like that one.

Im Irish and Im not offended. In fact, those garments would have been the perfect outfit for the St. Pattys Day parade in a month.

No - Now, if someone would protest about
all the other junk they sell at their stores or those
creepy manikin commercials

"Party Like You're Irish" with a picture of Snoopy holding a mug of root beer - are you sure that was Root Beer

Ever been to an Irish Wake - It's one big party, and the only one without a hangover a week later is the departed

I'm Scotch-Irish. No hurt feeling here.

I'm inclined to believe there is at least a small number of people that actively search for things that could offend a minute percentage of the population just to have an excuse to raise a stink about something.
