Even 30 or 40 or 50 years ago it would've cost less--in every sense--to tell Israel to **** off--and embrace the ME nations that do produce oil. The Muslim "value system" was very rarely a concern of the United States before 1948.
50 years ago Muslims weren't flying airplanes into our buildings or stuffing explosives in their underwear on our flights.
The point was that we care more about Muslim behavior since they started waging jihad against us. But I think we are moving farther and farther away from the point of this thread.

Before the state of Israel was "invented" in 1948, America didn't have enemies in the Middle East.
Something to think about.
There are reasons for people's behavior. One or two people can "go crazy" and do violence, but when a whole nation is angry, that tells us that there are concrete reasons for the anger which must be addressed.
I think these people, or at least the ones in control want to destroy EVERYONE that is not like them.
Some of us are tired of people trying to frighten us and are quite willing to show them what total destruction can mean. We need, for a while anyway, their oil. We do not need them.

So how many people are YOU willing to kill for your precious oil?
None. However, if they insist on a no prisioners Jihad that is a game I have already played.
