Most people treat politics like pep rallies and defend their team like it was high school football, when in reality the politicians are the equivalent of pro wrestling.
Politics has always been this way and journalism has long recognized it. Afterall most people knew that their newspaper and the local poliitcs were controlled by one party.Its not hard to really listen even to the supreme court justices in argumants to see that politcal leaning plays a big part in their judgement.Politics is the art of compromise for a reason;nt a search for truth or some such non-sense some may thnk.
