Read The Soprano State to see what Democrats have done to this goat-rodeo known as New Jersey.

Why do Jerseyites think that the world revolves around their issues?

He raised my property taxes by hundreds of dollars and wages war on the very teachers who give us many of the finest school stats in the entire country. He turned down public transportation money, squandered education funds, catered to the anti-vax nuts and failed to understand that this is not supposed to be North Dakota with a nicer coastline. We've had governor sex scandal, governor incompetent and governor rich b*tch. He still manages to be worse than all of them. If you Reps want him nationally he's all yours. Just watch your wallets because unless you're super rich he does not care about you.

Mmmmm this thread is about our Governor. Why does it come as a surprise to you his activities in our state are discussed?

Because we CAN'T afford to hold up what was to be our commitment for the project. Now low and behold, after he told a Senator if you want it built so bad, you pay for it, we can't. The feds are taking over the job.

We can't afford the NJ of 5-10 years ago anymore.

Attacking teachers?? Give me a break, they need to come down to reality and the reality is that if everyone else has to give, they do too.

Let me guess, you're a teacher. You did leave out the fact he close an $11 billion deficit.

LOL, thank you. Sheesh.

"Why didn't he run in 2008?" was the question.

"Because he was starting to clean out the rat's nest the Democrats built up." was the answer.

Wait. Wait. Wait.

McGreevey hired his boy toy to lead NJ's homeland security and arranged trysts by using tax dollars to fuel the state-owned vehicle he used to meet these characters.

Corzine promised to control the oppressive taxes and reign in the unions and the whole time he was doing back-door (in more ways than one) deals with Katz and her union.

And these two parasites are better than big boy?

FYI: Corzine made almost $2million/year (bonus/salary) as CEO of Goldman Sachs. If anyone knew about the working-class folks of NJ, it was definitely Jon Corzine.

I'm glad you feel that way. You must have been just as mad as everyone else in the state when Christie gave millionaires a tax break.

Hey did, I didn't get it? Oh you mean he let the punitive tax, that chased wealth form the state expire? Oh yeah, he did that.

If you want to stop a particular activity tax it.

By the way, the only ones who were angry were the state employees. Fewer pockets to pick..............

N.J. loses $70B in wealth during five years as residents depart | NJ.com

More than $70 billion in wealth left New Jersey between 2004 and 2008 as affluent residents moved elsewhere, according to a report released Wednesday that marks a swift reversal of fortune for a state once considered the nation’s wealthiest.
Conducted by the Center on Wealth and Philanthropy at Boston College, the report found wealthy households in New Jersey were leaving for other states — mainly Florida, Pennsylvania and New York — at a faster rate than they were being replaced.
Rutgers University economists say it could take seven years to recover from recession
“The wealth is not being replaced,” said John Havens, who directed the study. “It’s above and beyond the general trend that is affecting the rest of the northeast.”"

yes, he did. NJ has one of the highest number of millionaires in the country. a bill was placed on his desk that passed the legislature that kept the tax rate for millionaires at EXACTLY THE SAME rate it was for the last few years. Not more...exactly the same. he vetoed it and called it burdensome. so basically you are saying everyone has to give except those that actually can afford it
