If the US agrees that the settlements are illegal why veto the resolution that says just that?
Again, you'd have to read your own link. No UN resolution is based upon one statement, like "it's illegal" That's a pretty simplistic notion and it never happens. Did you read the entire resolution? Nope.
"taking the issue to the UN will only complicate efforts to resume stalled negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians on a two-state solution."
How agreeing with the fact that the settlements are illegal would complicate anything?
By vetoeing the resolution that the settlements are illegal the US disagrees that the settlements are illegal. Jebus on a skateboard, do I really have to explain this?
I've already given you quotes from the article I quoted in the beginning a few posts prior.
You've answered all my questions as to your allegiance long ago, KoobleKar. Thanks for playing!
WOW! As one here that has argued with Kooblebar on so many issues I lost count I REALLY do not get your statements. You are putting me in the awkward position here to defend his POV but you are dead wrong in your accusation of his loyalties.
