If you're thinking like I was thinking, you might've thought, "Three strikes, you're out." She didn't have any priors. She will be up for parole in 2014.

The part that cracked me up was the fact that she had pot in her coat when she went to jail after sentencing. That was awesome.

Totally disgusting! It's time for a revolution to stop these idiots who want to tell us how to live our lives according to their selfish standards.

I don't feel sorry for a woman that sells drugs out of the home--especially while her children are home. There are some countries where she'd likely get the death penalty.

I must say, if I'm on her jury, she would be found innocent.

She wasn't selling drugs. She was selling pot.

But do you think she should be jailed with murderers and thieves, and kept away from her children for 10 years?

both the article and the thread title here are a bit shy of truthful.

This woman made not one, but two sales of pot to a cop. she was in business. AND she was teaching her 9 year old son the trade.

they should have taken her kids away never to be seen again. the grandma needed to go to jail too.

and she shows up with pot in her coat the day she goes to jail? REALLY? and you people think this is the gubbermints fault????

REALLY???

I agree completely. She knew the risk and chose to break the law.

Wow, talk about misleading.

She got 10 years for being a marijuana distributor. While I'm kind of pro-legalization, I'm also aware that anyone that sells drugs out of their home to strangers is pretty stupid and taking a risk.

How much you want to bet she was on welfare and food stamps?

Sorry, I have no compassion for an idiot and freeloader.
