na, we're normal people who look at gm, chrysler and who see what unions have done to states like michigan! your post however displays the ignorance which is typical of those of your ilk

nah, it's like obama saying he was going to close gitmo. or the one where he said he would withdraw from iraq. he forgot to mention that he was going to place non-combat troops there oh and more blackwater contractors aka mercenaries. another funny one was when he said he was going to reign in lobbyists. he forgot to include that he was going to let them write the healthcare law. another good one was that 'bills posted online' story.

There is no chance that GM's demise could be blamed on its management. Right? Ford did just fine. Virtually all successful auto companies do just fine with unions in their homeland and elsewhere. And yet, union is the reason GM went down?

How about poor planning and refusal to be more progressive?

firstly Ford did not do just fine. it barely made it through and a can guarantee you that had it not been for programs like cash for clunkers and other stimulus it might not have made it through.

similarly there is no chance that gm demise could be blamed on excessive union benefits? let's consider that gm spends more on viagra and other medications than it does on steel.

The Collective Extortionists are deliberately lying to camouflage the fact that public employment is not a right but a privilege. And collective bargaining is a privilege, too. The truth is that public employee unions are OVER PRIVILEGED and are seeking superiority over the underprivileged tax payers.

Public Unions or Public Servants
