I would guess all the firefighters and most of the police work for local governments.

Walker's Fireside Chat. Sounds very reasonable. Why would anyone advocate forced slavery to the unions?

Well sure, Kat they do do that but aren't school districts local in nature? Those people are demonstrating in Madison and other places.

I don't get your point. Apparently, the state has something to do with teacher's pay and benefits in WI. Not familiar with the law there. The others are demonstrating in solidarity, IMO.

If you heard Chisty talking about his meeting with a firefighters union members after he reduce the staes contribution and rised their portion its much the same . He basically said he would wait until they saw i the future that he actaully saved their pension rather than lettig it be destroyed down the road.Mnay including myslef have deal with thsi i the past as we are with our compoany health insurnace now by making sure it does not go broke under the new mandates since adopting the new healhcare rules in October. After the people heard the how people believed that they could buy that home and refi later or sell at a profit at worse;yo would think that people should have learned that conning yourself is the worse con of all.
