Very true, typically 3rd+ generation Mexicans are assimilated into the stereotypical American culture.

There is an anti-Mexican attitude in the USA but all immigrants have dealt with it. Mexicans were not subject to the Jim Crow laws (Considered White) in the past and were not segregated however due to significant immigration in general they have become a target.

People need to stop finding reasons to hate other people.

Exactly
These immigrants will be assets, but you need to be patient ! Look at Cuban Americans being US-Born : they earn more the US average, many are businessmen, doctors...

Not true. Here in Arizona us dark skinned indio or mestizo Hispanics had to stay in our side of town back in the day. Us white Latinos, not so much. My own family went thru that.

And the illegals hurt our rep bad to.

The primary tactic to encourage illegal immigration it to brand anyone who opposes it a racist.

If you happen to think American's should get the first shot at construction and roofing jobs, then the people who want illegal immigrants to have those jobs will call you a racist.

It's pretty transparent, but that's the only argument the pro-illegal immigration people have. The charge of racism is losing all it's effect because people have over-used it for political and economic purposes.
