Stop acting like you're so perfect and people that get tickets are horrible human beings. The cops are against us so decide which side you want to be on.
Don't break a law you consider BS and you won't have an issue.

Yeah, I reckon I wouldn't be happy about getting a ticket.
Although, something tells me that if the fine was $500,
it prolly wasn't exactly a BS infraction.

1. The police are not there to protect you. They show up after you've been shot/stabbed, do a crime scene analysis, and maybe someday pick up a suspect. Protecting yourself and family is a personal responsibility.

2. Passing out tickets is a revenue generator for local governments. They've been doing that for decades.

No one said cops cant be jerks. They are human like everyone else. You do know that the "quotas" are not something the cops came up with. They are pressured by the mayor, aldermen, etc. to generate that ticket money. sometimes their jobs are threatened if they do not meet a certain quota. So put the blame where it belongs.

Im sure they dont want to be bffs with people with your attitude. We have all been upset with getting tickest before and felt they were BS. Thats just part of life. I got a ticket once for having my tire touching the yellow line in a parking lot. I thought that was bs, but it dosent mean all cops are out to get me. I also got a ticket for my tires spinning on wet pavement when I pulled out from a stop (noise violation), bs, sure. I have also had LEO there when I needed help, they have given me escorts to the hospital, taken me to work after an accident and home when my car broke down at 2 am.

There is a difference in street cops and detectives. It is not the job of general peace officers to solve criminal cases. Thats like saying your general practitioner isnt working to find a cure for your disease.

Then they shouldn't be breaking traffic laws that could result in a costly fine.

I fail to see how the cops are at fault here....

I haven't gotten a ticket/fine in 15 years. Why should *my* property tax go up so that people who break traffic laws don't have to pay fines? That makes absolutely zero sense.

OK, show off your astounding critical reasoning for us here, then.

Explain how raising property taxes and lowering/eliminating traffic fines makes good sense, please.

What was your "bs infraction" that cost you $500?

I'm not perfect, but if I'm speeding and I get caught, you won't find me bitching about it on the internet, either. It's called personal responsibility.
