I want to know how my LIFE will be affected. I hear that marriage will be jeopardized if gays are allowed to marry. How, walk me through what will happen to me and my wife, my kids, etc.

What will happen to you? Other than your feelings, walk us through what specifically will happen to you when gay people are allowed to marry?

I am quite interested to see the response to your question.

For me, there is no change to my life, therefore I can not see a problem.

Don't hold your breath, I have asked it over ten times to several people, some multiple times, and it goes ignored EVERY TIME.

It must be in the playbook, "never answer how life will not change if gays can marry."

Millions of people simply do not want marriage changed. Period. Why do you and others here insist on reading more into it beyond that? You clearly do not agree with a differing opinion on this topic and it is highly unlikely that you will ever receive an answer to your full and complete satisfaction anyway.

And that would matter if this wasn't America.

Because, tyranny of the majority does not work here.

However, Marriage isn't changing. Its still an institution that means two people are contracted together, that affords them 1400 legal rights.

I know that, I just wish they would stop trying to come up with a million ridiculous justifications for why they are against it.

I would have so much more respect for someone who would just say.

"I don't care if it is constitutionally correct, I don't care if nothing in my life will change, I don't care if it causes massive amounts of pain and suffering among those who it affects, I just don't like it and I will fight it to the end."

Millions of people were (and still are) against interracial marriage, and even interfaith marriage too.

That's 3 more children than another couple (heterosexual) who decided to only have 1 child.

That's 2 more children than my cousin who just had twins and will not be having any more.

Seems that in some cases, gays actually produce more children than heterosexual couples.
Data from the 2000 US Census :

45.6 percent of married heterosexual partners are raising children
43.1 percent of unmarried heterosexual partners are raising children
34.3 percent of lesbian couples are raising children
22.3 percent of male gay couples are raising children

This is what will happen....
