"3M CEO slams Obama as 'anti-business'..."

"The head of industrial conglomerate 3M (MMM, Fortune 500) blasted the president as being "anti-business," claiming Obama has not done anything to improve the White House's relationship with Corporate America.

3M CEO George Buckley called Obama's policies "Robin Hood-esque" and told the Financial Times that manufacturers like 3M may have to shift production to other countries in order to stay competitive.

"We know what his instincts are ... he is anti business," Buckley said in an interview that ran late Sunday....".

In right wing bizzaro world....CEO's of industry criticizing regulations that reduce their profits are the most qualified to speak about what is best for US citizens.

Corporations are soooo benevolent!

.....Just keep limiting government's ability to control them, and find out just how much corporations love you.

Oh I don't think corporations are evil. I think they should have reasonable regulations put on them to keep them from harming the US public as they go about making their profits.

They should also devote a portion of their profits to fund our Federal Budget.

Of course with your 3rd grade logic. One can't have any regulation or taxation...It's all black and white.

Do you really thnik a guy who has never been a CEO or done anything in his life in runnig a business is quailfied to lead the conutry on what is best on business and commerce;by the samer token. Look at what is happening now in this recession compared to others as we exit it;slow;slow growth broguht on by policy. Even indivduals are eliminating debt and sving not investing i the economy. For a examploe of Gobvernment manging busxiness just look at Fannie and Freddie which brought about much of the housing crisis to see how competient governamnt is. Look at the SEC and madoff as to how they really protect consumers. What the OP is saying is typical good ole boy politcs where if you disagree 'we will punsih you for doig that. Its the problem with mnay liberals ;they are a good ole boy netwrok of favor by politic. That is why their facing a no confidence by voters and business, just porve Obana supporters are anti-business.
