There may be some ignorant, fearful, hateful and bigoted Black Americans that hate Gay, Lesbian and Transgendered Americans, just like there are people of other races.
Now what's your point?
Whatever President Obama lost among this closed minded individuals he gained in the support of people who believe that ALL Americans should have equal rights regardless of race, national origin, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.

Wow! you just gotta come right out with all your tolerance right out of the gate, thought I could post this in such a way that we could have avoided all that.....evidently not! I believe Huckabee was stating statistics that say blacks and hispanics overwhelmingly support DOMA. "Within the white community it's about 56 percent, 65 percent in the Hispanic, 75 in the African American community,"

Only in Republicospeak is calling out intolerance considered intolerant.
But someone already made the point that it doesn't seem like a fit for that demographic to vote for Huckabee during any sort of primary so what's the point of him bringing that up.
Huckabee has nothing to worry about, he's not going to gain the black vote by putting down Obama.

Where did any one gather that Huckabee was going for the black vote ? He is talking about Obama choosing not to defend DOMA! Watch the interview people!

When compared to the lineup of Republican candidates for President and their respective "concern" or lack of the same for Black Americans I seriously doubt that Obama's stated policy of not defending DOMA is going to be a swing issue for all but the most socially conservative of Black Americans.
