That is exactly right. The poll can be and probably is bias but the truth is the numbers probably add up. You could also say the same thing about the American Idol winner

Oh so it was that you objected to the sample size?

As I suspected...a little bird on this thread tried to help you out by saying the methodology was biased towards Dems.

This isn't the Presidential election. 272 is plenty to get a decent reading.

Would you want a bigger sample size sure.....but it will do.

So, 272 out of the 806 surveyed would favor recalling Walker, and somehow you and the other libs infer that a recall would be successful? Why?

Pardon me. I made a mistake. 800 people surveyed? That's plenty. Most professional State polling races are in the 400 range.

You and the little bird are way off base....LOL

And to answer your question....polling results are weighted (because of the sample size) to more accurately reflect likely voters. So that's why 272 could be considered a threat.

So, you're claiming that 272 favoring recall out of 806 now somehow means a recall effort would be successful in 2012? Why?

do you happen to have a more reliable source? I dont believe for a moment that there are 1 million voters in Wisconsin that are willing to sign a recall petition for govenor walker.

i do know it is a lower number for the cowardly senators that ran from doing the job they were elected to do. seems that they should be the ones thnat should be removed from office.

No. I'm not claiming that. I claim nothing more than the article implies. It's getting into the possible range....the 50/50 range.."vulnerable" .call it what you like.

272 out of 806 is 50/50? Did you fail math?

The is my last post tonight. I will not say it again. Raw polling numbers are "weighted"....by who the responders say they are? Are they GOP voters, Dem voters, Independents?....This is not a mini election where you just publish the raw results. ..

As I suspected. You know nothing about polling and I'm having to school you on it.

No thanks.
