Now we find out the union thugs have been armed on the Capital grounds.

No wonder Gov Walker does not want these crazies on the grounds.

With the heckling and pushing of a rep congressmen recently and the trashing of the capital grounds he now has enough evidence that this crowd is up to no good and is dangerous to the congressmen and anyone else who is on the ground who is acting civil.

I am hoping this gives Walker what he needs to remove the thugs from the property.

Why on earth would you need to be armed for what the left is calling a peaceful rally for rights?

Ammo found outside Wis. Capitol, site of protests - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110303/ap_on_re_us/us_wisconsin_budget_union_capitol_2 - broken link)

Add in the 500k the state now has to pay to clean up after these people destroyed property and left their trash all over the place.

This from the same link:

Wisconsin Administration Secretary Mike Huebsch told the court that it would take $500,000 to supervise the removal of the tape, $6 milion to restore the damage to the interior of the building and an additional $1 million to restore damage done from items taped to the exterior.

I read about this earlier. We have known all along who the violent ones are. This just proves how far they've gone over the line.

The LW crickets must be loading up on groceries today since it is the 3rd of the month.

They are not here to defend the violent radical thugs for some reason.

We have seen exactly what kind of people are involved in the protests up there, although some of us have known all along the behavior they have exposed.

I call BS on the whole thing. People don't just load their pockets with loose ammo and then drop some looking for change of a quarter. It's a plant. Easy enough to do and a dirty trick at best. As a gun owner, it makes me laugh. The idea that somebody brings a 22 long rifle pistol to a protest and scatters around a bunch of loose ammo is absurd. Who they gonna shoot, each other? BS,BS,BS.

But, but, but REPUGS WANT to be armed, see NOTHING wrong with it...it's our RIGHT! It's OK, just because you're armed doesn't make you dangerous!

RIGHT!?

RIGHT??????

I have no doubt some of them were armed. The people that went to hussein obama rally who brought guns OPENLY were there to protest for their gun rights.

Not only will it cost millions to clean up after these left wing thugs, they said the capitol building smells like a toilet.

I could easily see a round or two. .22 ammo is small enough, if you cleared a weapon and dropped the rounds in a pocket it would be easy enough to drop some. I'm sure I've done so at one time or another. Though 41 rounds per the article is a streach. Wonder if someone had a 50 round box in a pocket, that happened to have a hole in it?

In any case, what's the big deal? Some people just have phobias about firearms I guess.

I'm betting it was a plant--someone carried in a box of ammo and scattered it around the grounds on purpose to make a statement. I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that it would be more of a 2nd amendment tea party crowd thing to do--they've consistently supported carrying guns to rallies in the past (and they've done it), and there's no reason they wouldn't want to make a statement about it now. They've talked about putting people in the crowd to make the protesters look bad--the problem is that when they do dumb things like this, it's not too hard to figure out who's behind it.

PLUS--I thought the tea party SUPPORTED the right of Americans to carry arms anywhere and everywhere? How does one group become armed and dangerous union thugs if you find loose ammo on the ground, but tea partiers who do the same thing--in fact, FLAUNT their weapons--are patriotic Americans?
