Labor Force Participation is at 64.2%, it was unchanged from last month, and continues to be at a 25 year low. Should the LFP return to its 25 trendline average of 66.1%, the unemployment rate would be 11.6%.

That sad part is people think the government controls employment.

He's showing you how the Obama administration has had the numbers manipulated.

His excuse would probably be that we had to do that to start to begin some confidence in our nation before all the Obama money printing would turn the currency to pesos.

It would take at least 350,000 jobs a month to lower unemployment at all. This is just another example of how distorted and false the economic data that gets reported actually is.

My problem isn't so much with TrimTabs as with the Shadow Government Statistics data that's referenced. SGS pumps out a LOT of garbage. Folks on the lunatic-fringe far Right really loves that site though.

Why Shadow Government Statistics is very, very, very wrong. « The Traders Crucible

Way to much for a liberal to understand.

The robots can only comprehend so much and this is over their head.

Obama is fixing the numbers but the best thing about it if things are looking up in the job market like the dreamland some here think it is only because the Republicans have given businesses the trust needed to know to invest in themselves because Obama cannot tax them to death if they grow.

Thanks to the REPUBLICANS for a job well done!!!

Business are not afraid to hire anymore because of the death tax and spending of the demwits and Obama teamed together.

Spot on. Anyone with a brain knows these numbers mean nothing. There was even a clip of Rick Santelli today, where he pretty much said the same thing. Is our country so screwed now that we have to celebrate a 8.9% UE rate (that has been manipulated down from a lot higher)?
