Wutz up with this shift?

If the Government can save money by replacing one-dollar bills with coins, why not replace, or at least allow, coins to replace 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 bills with coins?

Can a tracking device be implanted in metal and still be picked up?

They have been proposing this for years. I hope that it does pass. I think that people could get used to the dollar coins, but also think that they could make them slightly larger. They should also bring back "Lady Liberty" on the coins.

It's usually just a revenue maker. People get the coins and collect 'em and the government makes out on the difference between the dollar you pay for the coin and the cost of making it.

I sure hope so. I always preferred the dollar coins, for some reason. Besides, they last sooo much longer tha $1 bills.

so does this mean they're not ready to move towards a cashless society where we are all slaves to the system?

or does it mean we already are and there's no need to go totally cashless?

What?
What does this post mean?
Are you really this paranoid?

I live in Europe and have lived in East and Southeast Asia as well.
They use currency coins for 1 and 2 whatever equivalents.

It's great.
If they take the $1 out of circulation, then people will be forced to use the coins.

Oh sure .. I could see myself carrying around $500.00 in coins ..

Clank, chinck, rattle, rattle .. I'd be a great target for any mugger that would happen to pass by ..
