Have you? They are loaded with drug addicts and alcoholics... is that who you refer to in the wide income gap? Are you just typing things without thinking about it? You feel sorry for people who caused their own downfall and blame it on the wealthy? Really? Seriously... Apparently you haven't done much volunteer activities for the homeless...

A couple of good columns concerning the so-called inequality of wealth:

Thomas Sowell

The Liberal Myth of Income Inequality in America
OMG, Thomas Sowell roflmao...

The token minority guy and puppet for the right-wing establishment? Thanks but no thanks, I think I'll stick to more objective scholars and studies

I'm afraid we're heading towards the days of Dickensian England or even the re-institution of virtual slavery
My indictment is not against those are for a truly free market, it is against those who are promoting a crony corporatist, government controlled market an call it free. There is nothing free about government created and protected deeds for land, oil, mineral and water rights etc. There is nothing free about government protecting the gains of a corporation while limiting their loses.

Regulations are tools of the elite, putting people back at risk and having them pay for government protection is the answer. Only then can a truly free market thrive where gains, losses and liability are borne by those taking the risk.

This will create abundance and a more peaceful society.

Oh puleeze!

Corporate right-wingers love rewriting history to suit their agendas!

It is natural under unrestricted capitalism for the kind of absolutely horrific conditions detailed in Upton Sinclair's book to flourish

There is no such thing as "unrestricted" capitalism... capitalism is merely and ONLY trade A for trade B... what you refer to is corporatism... there is a new word for you to look up during your scholarly activities...

You know, I'm not one to accuse anyone of being a token, but in every documentary he's been in, his punchline has been:
"Democrats and liberals did this, and that's why things suck"
Gets boring after a while, so I have to agree with you on this one.

As for this thread, yikes, no comment.
