With enough guns and plenty ammo you don't need to stock up on anything else.

If the collapse happened today I wouldn't even have enough food to get me a week without a trip to the grocery store. This is a frightening scenario. Is it time to get serious about this Y2K style?

You are doing really well. Now we can see the price of food items skyrocketing. Why only $4 gas? What's wrong with $20 beans? Later we can claim that its Obama's fault.

LMAO! Oh brother............to the OPer............this exact quote right here is one reason to stock up NOW on everything from food, ammo, water, emergency preparedness. Not only is this next year going to be worse than the past 5 we are one terrorist/national disaster away from complete economic shut down. Here in CA if there was a major earthquake we are so unprepared it's down right pathetic. I work at a major hospital and we can barely handle REGULAR traffic.............. can you imagine how my hospital would deal with a disaster of some sort? LMAO! Take care of yourself and your family people. Things are going to get rough. The US economy is all smoke and mirrors right now. Wallstreet numbers mean shat, unemployment numbers mean shat, and everything the media cheerleads just think the opposite. The recovery is one big illusion.

4. How long till they all start getting hungry

What the hell does that matter? That's why we own guns in America. You have the right to protect your property and your family. You act like if there was a depression in America it would turn into some sort of Zombie movie. Hardly. At least not throughout most of the USA. There will be violence and people getting desperate. But robbing their neighbors for food? LMAO! That's a little dramatic. Maybe in east LA or Detroit but not where I live.
