OK, I'll add to the Misogynist Club hate/fear women thread of the week.
Again, the above poster must have NO knowledge of history, day to day life, ...must not know any emotional men:rolley es:
and doesn't know that women are "MEANT" to be anything they WANT to be........or he hates/fears women.....
Here is a person who would "play the sex card"...not vote for a person because of their sex NOT their abilities....too bad there's not a test for voter IQ...
I do not know but Can it happen. Maybe if she had Military experience, business and wasn't too pretty. old or too ambitious, or connected or beholhing.............nah not yet.
I'm ready for a female president if she is ready to defend the rights of the individual, fight internationalist pressure and opts not to use all caps when referring to herself.
Can we just have a president that can do his/her job right? I'm tired of this stupid "OH EM GEE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT, OH EM GEE FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT". How about a "OH EM GEE, A PRESIDENT THAT ACTUALLY DOES THE JOB CORRECTLY"
You are soooooo right. Pity there are some out there feel that the President is only OK if he/she belongs to their "club" and will support their every whim.

I am a bit dismayed that people actually still asking these kinds of questions.
Are people themselves, really that petty and bigoted, that they cannot conceive of such a thing happening, or are they dubious at best of the possibility of a woman president?
Do they see the strain of bigotry in themselves, and wonder if other people are as capable as themselves, to swallow hard, and pull a lever for a woman, or someone of a different skin color, religion etc...?
Or do these people have such little faith that people in this country can see beyond appearances and gender? If so, why?

Count me among those with little faith. As for the reason why - Obama.
Any nation that can elect an Affirmative Action Socialist Community Organizer, with absolutely no executive experience, to the highest elected office in the land deserves all the misery that follows. I have absolutely no confidence in the American voter.
I think we are ready for a female President, I know her sex wouldn't sway my vote one way or another, just as long as she was the best person for the job.
.
The best person for the job rarely, if ever, gets elected.
The person who gets elected is just the best at getting elected.
I would possibly vote for a woman for president so long as they were left of center, if not completely leftist, politicians. I would never vote for Coulter, Palin or Clinton.
IMHO it is the policies, not the personalities or gender, that count.
I would possibly vote for a women president so long as they were right of center, if not completely rightist, politicians. I would never vote for Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi or Barbara Boxer.
