Could you point to the section of the Constitution (which is THE founding document) that specifies this? Oh! That's right! It DOESN'T!

1- Please provide a link to such history that supports your argument. I can't find it.
2- What exactly is Judeo/Christian nation? A nation that uses laws of Moses as the basis for its constitution?

It's actually a Judaeo-Christian nation. The founding of this nation is inexplicable apart from the Judaeo-Christian worldview that underpins it. If this country had been colonized by Hindus or Muslims or Buddhists or any other religous group there would not be a USA. Pure and simple.

Please explain what is Judeo-Christian worldview and how it is different from Hindu or Buddhist world views. Then we can talk about how it all fits with the "USA".

No, it isn't. Christianity and politics do not mix, and the misuse of Christianity was employed to allow for abuses against, women, races, and the poor in this country's earlier days.

Why are you all getting worked up over this ?
There is separation of Church and State.
What does it matter the religious background of those that founded this nation as they made sure religion would not govern politics ?

If we define the country by the religion that has the majority belief, yes.

If we define the country as the founding fathers originally wanted it to be, then no.

To all of those who lament the fact that America is 'no longer a Christian nation', why not move to a country that is a Christian nation. All of the Scandinavian countries apply even to the point of having a government position for head of the National Church filled by a high ranking church minister.

Come for the Christianity, stay for the Socialism.
