you can submit questions to the NPR ombudsman:

NPR Ombudsman talks about Vivian Schiller's resignation and Ron Schiller's Tea Party remarks - The Washington Post

When will they realize the views expressed by this bigoted NPR VP are in the fringe minority of opinion?
Well, I'd be kinda careful about a "majority opinion"
as well - if it was bigoted.

I don't think their donors/endowments will be running
for the hills anytime soon. Both Ron Schiller, and
CEO, Vivian Schiller (no relation) have resigned.

I'd say the #1 on air bigoted statement should be given to
Brian Kilmead at Fox News "All terrorists are Muslims." He just cant get himself to say "some"

There's way too many conservatives with too much time (and venom) on their hands. What part of the comment that Tea Party activists are 'racist' and 'xenophobic' isn't true?

Why do so many liberals refuse to man up and admit when they are wrong? Why do they invariably engage in tit for tat and the "your man did this" defense.

It is truly embarrassing. Brian Kilmead has absolutely nothing to do with this thread except the usual deflection of the topic at hand.
The topic is not your opinion on bigoted journalists but NPR exec caught on tape.

Bigoted or not he has a right to his own opinions. Who even knows for sure he is a liberal? Maybe he is a Jewish neo-Fascist conservative pinko commie jihadist anti-christ. Even so I still agree with 99% of what he said and he has every right to stick to those words. His views do not reflect those of NPR nor those of all liberals. The downfall of one man really reveals nothing about NPR, liberals, or any other group. It is his opinion, his indiscretion, his downfall, his own personal problem at this point.

I mean if Rush Limbaugh is a prescription drug addict fatso, does this make all Conservatives and 1070AM radio the same? Not really. You can't paint entire groups of people and organizations with the same brush, though perhaps it is easier for simple-minded people to do so.

Isn't it interesting how when the offender is perceived to be a liberal (of course one could substitute Muslim, Mexican or any number of fashionable prejoratives) somehow whatever the offense is applies to all liberals (Muslims, Mexicans...) but when the offender is perceived to be from the other side (i.e. Republican, white, Christian) s/he is an individual solely responsible for his/her actions entitled to express any personal opinion no matter how nonsensical or divorced from reality and completely exempt from all outside influence?

Oh well, another day, another lesson in rightist hypocrisy.

Because liberals, Muslims, Mexicans, and gays are all part of a massive socialist conspiracy to turn America and the rest of the world into a fascist-communist caliphate one-world government based on a perverted lack of morals---led of course by George Soros. At least that's what I heard from the Rhodes Scholars who regularly post on CityData after watching the latest episode of the Glen Beck show.
