When Georgie Bush was spending like a drunken sailor, conservatives had nothing to say about deficit. In fact, they said deficits don't matter. Republicans only used deficit reductions as a political technique, but you conservative followers fall for it.

It wasn't put in our faces until 2008 and all of these bailouts and threats that the economy is toast without the bailouts. And the deficits seemed managable - whereas now, the deficit is out of control with Obama controlling the purse strings.

The Republicans in Congress are following the lead of the people who put them there.

This is no technique. We have no money. Whether we realized it today or 10 years ago - we still have no money. True or false?

Lking at the first tweo eyar of Obama its clear that he is the same liberal spend and tax presdient and first named his commissio and now just bascially ignred it. Its was the demcorats that failed to support it with exception in the senate fiance committee also.Kinf of like Obama just o TX+V calimig he has shutdwon crude drilling when he even has used the EPA to tryo to efective stop expansio of refining they called for not long ago and his demcratic congress has hearings on just 2 years ago. The same way thery prevented a floodgate that would have stopped the water that got to thecanlas in the 60's when it was already approved by congress by getting a injunction.Obama and liberals are determined by hook or crook to by pass even congress to put their speical interest gropus agenda of control of energy by any means possible.Allone has to do is read Goers book to see his aims and lok at his investments.

They don't care, it's just a PR stunt to rally the base just like wasting time and tax payer dollars to recall the health care plan. They got done what they wanted with the tax cuts for the rich extension, don't expect anything to get done from the republicans.

The republican politicians are well aware of their constituents, that is for sure. They've "managed" to cut $66 billion in their proposal. President Obama could easily cut nearly twice that ($127 billion) simply by following the trickery used by President Bush, by keeping war spending out of budgets, hence deficit.

Perfect solution for people suffering with Ostrich Syndrome.
