If I were in the TEA party, I would demand that she step down from the caucus.
Ya mighta known it wouldn't take long for some drooling repug to repeat like a demented parrot, "57 states, 57 states!"
Proving they have NO defense for Bachmann.
She lied about "hidden" costs in Obama health care bill and it has been proven over and over that's another of her many lies....they will find an excuse for her.
She wanted to cut funding to AMERICAN VETERANS... Repugs SUPPORT this!!!!!
So much for their "support the troops"....they lied...
Bachmann wanted to investigate members of Congress for un-American statements.....what is more Un-American than cutting funding to our AMERICAN VETS ????
Again, A gaffe is something unintentionally said. Bush has done it, Obama has done it. He knows that there are 50 states. What Bachmann said wasn't unintentional.
Obama had said he had one more to go to, and that he couldn't go to Alaska and Hawaii, so he'd been to 57 states.
57 + Alaska and Hawaii + one more to go = 60
So he said 57 when he meant to say 47. This was almost three years ago. Don't you guys ever come up with anything new?
- Huckabee goes on a long description of Obama (falsely) growing up in Kenya. Response:But Obama once said 57 states!
- Bachmann says the battles of Lexington and Concord (falsely) happened in New Hampshire. Response: But Obama once said 57 states!
It's like you guys have "Obama once said 57 states" programmed as an auto-response to deflect any time a Republican says something ignorant. It makes those posters who do so seem desperate and lacking in creativity. Can you really not come up with anything better than an oral gaffe made on the campaign trail in some impromptu remarks almost three years ago? You guys are strange.
For goodness sakes, this is supposed to be a thread about how Michelle Bachmann when trying to court New Hampshire voters shows that she didn't bother to take the time to check some very basic facts before making statements in public fora. Does a gaffe made by Obama on the campaign trail almost three years ago have anything to do with what Bachmann said? Of course not.
Bachmann always has this look to her like she doesn't know what dimension she's in.
I wish she would actually move to a different dimension so I wouldn't have to hear her crap all the time.
