That is a dirty trick. The left leaners like to use Politifact when it shows what they want but I haven't seen one of them use this link. I wonder why that is. Maybe it doesn't say what they want to hear with that big old FALSE at the end.

The fact that the teachers' union can't screw the WI taxpayers anymore will close some of that gap.

Expect that to change the minute the democratic party regains power.

If the people of WI vote to screw themselves with higher tax bills by electing Dems, they're pretty stupid.

I'm as conservative as they come; in fact, I have been routinely compared to Hitler. At the sametime, isn't it their right to recall and/or elect people they want too? If no one wants a "recall," then those laws should be stricken from the books.

Therefore, these people are doing what the Constitution gurantees: A redress of greivence's. The simple fact of the matter is the conservatives in WI went too far and the backlash is coming. They could have compromised, like the unions wanted. The unions agreed to every single cut Walker wanted; they just didn't want their collective bargaining rights taken away. Walker and the conservatives said, "Too bad." Now everyone suffers, instead of finding the middle ground.

What is going to happen is the unions of WI will get "their" people into office and get even more stringent laws on the books, to keep something like this from happening in the future. This is a total lose/lose situation for everyone involved.

Yup.
Though only time will tell for sure, it certainly appears that Walker & the GOP overreached and are now facing a backlash to that. From the sound of things the vast majority of citizens in Wisconsin were FINE with the pay cuts etc (as were the unions themselves) - but they were NOT FINE with the act of stripping the collective bargaining rights away.

In any event we'll soon know how this will play out and WHO read the Wisconsin people correctly.

Didn't Walker and the fake Koch talk about Wisc the 1st Domino. Well, I suspect the dominoes are going to be falling, just in a different direction.
