Ya know, everytime I see someone with an old 'W '04 sticker on their vehicle, I say to myself - "Well.... there goes another unknowing cheerleader for the destruction of our country!" And I feel no different when I read any post put up by you or any of the other "Short Bus" crowd on this forum. It's very sad that you cannot see what has transpired in this once great country of ours. But that's OK. Friday is always pizza day at the Dubya Elementary School.
I am out of touch? LOL!!!
Tell me, do you agree with the OP?

As for your second paragraph, you really didn't say anything at all.
And FYI, I don't agree with Bush on everything; actually there are very few "cheeleaders" for Bush because conservatives such as I don't like the fact that he is spending too much and not closing the border.

=Visvaldis;1463489]Bush/Cheney have given the police much more power..
Examples?

Quote:
They have kept their own activities as secret as possible.
Examples? I recall shorty after the Clinton administration took office, they were holding meetings behind closed doors.

Quote:
They have abused the Constitution.
Examples? (Valid examples.)

Quote:
They have contirbuted to making Americans mistrust (and hate) each other.
No, the left-wing media has contributed the most in that regard.

Quote:
They have thrown a lot of dirt on America's world image.
See above.

Quote:
They have put cronies (and phonies) in high governmental positions.
This isn't the first administration which had less-than-adequate people in high governmental positions.

Quote:
They have smeared everyone who stood in their way...and then denied doing so.
Hmmm... that fits the last administration to a "T!"

What freedoms actually have been taken from you?

And did you miss the news video of Hillary Clinton saying, "There are things we are going to take from you." Her lips did sync precisely with the video and she was proud.

Wouldn't that`be impossible, according to your own uh logic?
yes, the oxymoronic force was strong with that one...

I'm posting this AGAIN, because if I have to read one more person taking Hillary Clinton's evil socialist agenda quotes out of context, I will scream:

Summary: In reporting on Rudy Giuliani's Republican debate performance, several media outlets uncritically repeated his attack on Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton,Moderator cut: do not repost copyrighted articles.

Oh my god! A female Stalin!

On June 29, 2004, the Associated Press reported Clinton's comments as follows:

Headlining an appearance with other Democratic women senators on behalf of Sen.Moderator cut: do not repost copyrighted articles

Media Matters - Uncritically airing Giuliani's attack, media ignored context of Clinton's remarks on taxes

Let that process slowly, my conservative friends. Let it clunk around a bit till it clicks.

Oh, it did all the clunking around it needed back when the new Dems in Washington tried to run a party to foist healthcare on a nation. I've been watching Democrats long enough, well since Lyndon Johnson, to know that a democrat with a vote is going to raise taxes, somewhere, somehow. And you can clunk yourself with that.

A friend in Brooklyn exlaims 'the government needs to raise taxes' so they can fix the roads in NY state.... clunk.

If you just don't get it... Democrats = Taxes, plus a host of other encroachments on my life then that's about it.

Clunk

BTW, I also saw the lip sync with the comment 'We need to increase H1B visas' to import more foreign workers for Silicon Valley. I also read a news post that week about she and the hub jetting about the globe on the private jet of Vikas Vinod Gupta, Indian techno engineer involved in the training and exporting of Indian high tech workers.

So, maybe she meant we're gonna take jobs and give them to Indians.

What have Bush and Cheney done while in office?
One thing they have begun is the privatizing of our military.

Have any of you read about Black Water?

Read about what they were doing in New Orleans after Katrina. Was this a good use of tax payer money? Could this money have been used to rebuild the levees? How about the neighborhoods and schools that were destroyed?

In the Black(water)

YouTube - Blackwater: Shadow Army

Black Water is also in Iraq. Black Water soldiers are paid more than US soldiers, but they are not held to the same rules and regulations. The company received a $27.7 million no bid contract to provide security for Paul Bremmer in Iraq. The privatization of our military should concern all of us.
