Really, is there any doubt this guy is trying to make good on his past comments and promises? Like, driving up energy costs....reducing our oil consumption....hoping to see gas @ $4+/gallon?

The $4-Per-Gallon President | Facebook

Quote:
His war on domestic oil and gas exploration and production has caused us pain at the pump, endangered our already sluggish economic recovery, and threatened our national security.

The evidence of the President’s anti-drilling mentality and his culpability in the high gas prices hurting Americans is there for all to see.
Exhibit A-C - his illegal moratorium, his 2012 budget and his anti-business, anti-drilling regulatory policies (trying to get through the backdoor, what he can't through the front - Congress).

The president is purposely weakening that building block and weakening our country.”

She concludes with the phrase, “2012 can’t come soon enough.”
Even before the meltdown in the ME, we saw an unprecedented attack on our domestic energy interests from this president. The 30 year obstruction by the Left/dems is paying off in spades finally.

Yep, and whomever comes after him is going to be the $6/gal president. I certainly hope you clutch your pearls as tightly then.

I am looking for your post and outrage when gas went up to $4 a gallon under Bush. Can't find it.

Just out of curiosity I decided to see just how much gas cost.

In 1972 when I bought my first car, gas cost .97¢ a gallon. Based upon inflation that same gallon of gas should cost me $5.11.

It would appear that Obama has another $1.11 cents to play with before he raises the price gas above what it was in the good old days.

Because it doesn't exist.

Gas prices here are about 12 cents lower than last week. Obama is doing good work!

Shouldn't you be using a deflation calculator.
