Ah, but you are. You are not condemning the increase of Federal debt under Bush. No one ever has. In fact, when was the first time you heard that there even was a Federal debt?! All the time Bush was racking up trillion after trillion in unsupportable debt the actual amount, if any, was shrouded in secrecy. From the day Obama took the White House every dollar of additional debt has been castigated in the most strident language possible. The National Debt was the touchstone that powered the Republican takeover of the House and put wind in the Tea Party sails and the spectre of default on the Debt provides nightmare fodder for right wing talking heads ad nauseum. But nowhere in any of this is the name Bush. America was dealt a death blow by the Bush excesses and may never, ever recover.
