What next? A super-committee for everything? This is utter insanity. DC is so lost they don't even know what they're doing anymore......well if they ever did I guess.

"Rep. John Larson (Conn.), chairman of the Democratic Caucus, wants to amend the recently passed debt-limit package to establish a joint select committee on job creation to operate alongside the already mandated Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction. "

Dem leader wants jobs

I really can't stand John Kerry. He may be on the committee.... He has a track record of being a communist sympathizer and hater of our boys of Vietnam. I see him as a man without a soul.

Its just a sign that they can not manage the people;'s business thru representative government bascially. They are ducking for cover as responsibilty for their failures become apparent.

If it creates real jobs it's a great idea. If it fails, kill it quick.

Just like most government initiatives, it is likely to fail as Obama's laser beam focus on the economy showed

A trend in ducking personal responsiblity and the jobs to which they were elected. Administrating by "committee" is a sure sign of a community organizer who never does anything but shirks responsiblity to others with nothing ever actually getting done.

Obama has a "jobs czar" who is moving his corporate manufacturing to China (see Government Electric).

Is this the Obama "pivot" on jobs?
