This should be this country's next agenda. If we have human rights, we should also have economic rights.

Too bad FDR never got this done.

What a fine idea! You get "economic rights" in exchange for the right to your earned money.

Are you sure this speech is from the man who did:

1) devaluation of the US dollar by 40% over night by confiscated gold through executive order 6102
2) created the social security tax or the biggest ponzi scheme
3) created payroll tax
4) extended the great depression
5) push marginal tax rate to 91%
6) executive order 9250 to tax 100% for all income over 25k. but shot down by congress

It is impossible to have economic freedom with forced taxation through threat of aggression.

There is no such thing as economic rights, guaranteed success or outcomes. The only equal outcome you can achieve is misery.

If you work hard at the right thing the right way you will for sure do OK in America, and if lucky you may do very well and have all Democrats hating your success wanting to tax away your hard earned money.

The Great American Myth. Hard work will make you a success. Complete balderdash. Hard work makes you tired. Inheritance makes you rich. Always has, always will.

There is more to "success" than being financially wealthy. In fact, some of the richest people in this country are among the middle class. Family, knowledge, and culture contribute to a person's wealth. I have worked very hard throughout my life and recently achieved my Ph.D. I am proud of myself, and right now I have a job that doesn't pay mega-bucks but that I enjoy. I have a great feeling of success.
