This. If Obama is such a socialist, why would this happen? Communist countries had low, government-subsidized food prices.

if big agriculture and food processing left as they are, "eating food may become the thing of the past" at any price. But that's another subject.

In your lifetime, (since you admit you are pretty old), can you list one period of time where inflation went up nearly 4% in ONE MONTH? DO THE MATH.. If that continues (and I'll be the first one to admit it wont), thats 48% IN A YEAR,,,

we have more inflation IN ONE MONTH than we probably ever did in a whole year during your lifetime... And you sit here and try to explain it away like this is normal..

The Obama stimulus bill contained about $300 Billion in food subsidies..
