Since taxpayers don't pay for Rush Limbaugh or Mike Savage's radio shows, why should a hyper-liberal radio show be funded?

Frankly, the Federal Government should be limited to tariffs and trade levies, as the Founding Fathers intended. This not only protected American industry (instead of Free Trade, which effectively shut down our industry), but kept Washington politicians from spending unlimited amounts of our money and not caring about the devastating consequences. The income tax was the end of freedom for Americans, and the beginning of a corrupt monster that caused the end of our Middle Class, the collapse of our economy, and a future so dim that youngsters who leave our nation will be much more successful than those who stay.

Bill Moyers has a profit motive and a personal agenda. You just happen to agree with his agenda.

I meant Jim Lehrer. I agree with you about Moyers.

Lehrer might be the last true journalist this country has on TV in the evenings.

Profit motive is the problem in health care, education, media. Where is it not the problem?

Why should I tune into Jim Lehrer? I've never even heard of the guy?

Start sending those checks!

IMO, NPR doesn't last a year.
