The fact that it's has 1) Oil and 2) It's leadership is not under the thumb of the USA.

It's OK to have one factor but not both.

Hence they are using cover of a "no fly zone" to take sides in a tribal civil war.

Jazzy T thinks we are there cause we're so kind and awesome.

Funny thing is,I hope the rebels would prevail...WITHOUT the USA getting involved.

I guess Fox News "made up" that airplane fuselage found in Salman Pac which the terrorists used to practice hijackings in?

I didn't say it was the only one but it certainly was one.

No. Where did you get the idea I made that claim?

Only 2% of US oil comes from Libya. It was not of strategic importance. Europe has more of an interest in a stable Libya.

Can you explain what you mean by its makeup?

This is the cost Americans pay for thumping their chest and saying "WE ARE THE BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD".

President Barack Obama was going to catch heat with ANY decision he made. Stay out of the conflict and it looks like the United States is ducking its responsibility as "Leader of the Free World". If the United States does that than in the international community is loses its creditability as a leader. That at some point starts to affect our relations with other countries in other ways including economically.

By going in now whether he wants to or not he's got to get rid of Gadafhi or its looked upon as a political failure.
Oh no. What we tried in Rwanda was the art of not giving a damn. That was also the case in the other countries you meantioned. Why is Obama all up in Libya's ****? I have a word for that. Oil. Not any of the humanitarian stuff. That doesn't put the cash in their (upper class) wallet. On top of that, it seems like your only listening to US propaganda. I'm not saying that Gaddafi isn't a bad guy, but do you know his side of the story? Or are all your sources mainstream media?
