I live in the State of Michigan the law recently passed by the state legislature doesn't have a damn thing to with seizing a private citizen's personal assets. The law is totally focused on the governorís power to appoint "Emergency Managers" to take over governance of cities and townships. And yes, a significant number or people in the state are REALLY pissed off about it.

You might take a closer look at issues and make sure you are fully informed before you come to an opinion.

We are heading for trouble fast. Already 35% of the population of the USA lives on government handouts and the economy is in free-fall. The government dependent population is growing at very high rates because welfare is not limited to the disabled and handicapped but given freely to young healthy women including those from all other countries that want to come and get it.

We don't have enough billionaires to pay for it all, and in fact uncontrolled immigration is for their benefit, they want unlimited cheap labor, a desperate workforce, and wages as low as they can go. They benefit by having unlimited numbers of servants. They don't mind a two-class society at all.

There will be riots if the welfare class ever has to see a cut in it's handouts.

Over the last 10 years they printed $7 trillion (World wide) and ran that money through the US economy Printing $14 trillion can be done without causing hyper inflation if you up the reserve requirements at the Federal Reserve bank by $14 trillion as well. The banks by our cash as we print it and buy back our debt. (It is about time we taxed the banks some.) I'm only talking about a 2.4X on the world reserves when they did a 3.333X on them in a decade.

We are going to lose our status as world reserve currency, no matter what we do, so we mint as well print down our debt as we have the chance.

I'm not the typical government type. I think. (Statement of fact not reducing the impact of the last statement)

We're not heading down anything.

They're trying to rile you up with this drama so it'll be easier for them to pass their ridiculous, divisive legislation with the least resistance.

If they give you something to be scared of, they can control you much more easily.

Can you not even take the time to take even a quick glance at what you mindlessly regurgitate in this forum with misleading descriptions and an obvious complete misunderstanding of? You are one of those sad people with predispositions are so strong that every event in life can be quickly categorized regardless of whether you understand it or take the time to learn about it.

It has nothing to do with personal assets.

All by itself I agree with you completely. But if you couple printing money and giving it to everyone with upping the minimum wage then you have two apposing forces, first is the contraction in the workforce by the higher minimum wage and the second is the expantion in the economy by the spending of a large amount of money, getting those two in balance would be a trick but, it can be done and the result would be an end to this Great Depression 2.0.

Taxing the top end heavily is called for. We need to rebuild the middle class. We also need to devalue the dollar to make working in the US wage competative with the rest of the world again. The size of bump is planned to sustain the housing prices at the peak of the last bubble and that will undo a lot of the economic damage done by the last bubble. It will also stimulate demand for houses. Then we can put in place a building moratorium for 5 years or so and clear out the backlog of existing houses.

I have put a bit of thought into this.

Post #15 is especially apparent in your case...

1. End all the wars and come home!

Invasions are very destabilizing. We would earn the scorn and anger of the rest of the G20 if we just walked away from the messes we started in the Middle East.

2. End the war on drugs, poverty and or any other thing labeled a war by the government.

Hard to argue, but, it simply isn't that simple...

3. Secure the borders

Again, seems simple, the issue isn't the borders, however. Believe it or not, there are card carrying Americans that want the migration of cheap labor into our workforce. Shocking, but true.

4. End all immigration for 5 years

See comments re: #3 above

5. Remove the personal income tax, replace with a 3% FEDERAL SALES TAX (Exempt, food, clothing, housing)

You wouldn't be able to pay for even one Typhoon class nuclear submarine with that kind of revenue. Slash the defense budget maybe?

6. Make corporate tax 15%

Ah yes.. the flawed logic again: "They aren't paying 30 so we'll drop it to 15 and their gratitude will be reflected in the increased compliance. How about we enforce compliance and see how we do and visit the issue of percentages later.

7. Remove all environmental restrictions (restore personal property rights)

Would you want to live in America after that? Seriously, how much time do you have left if you can suggest that? Have childeren? Know any? It is bad enough for them as it is... every day two classrooms worth of children are diagnosed with cancer and you want the right to dump motor oil down your sink and flush anti-freeze on your lawn... ...

8. Anyone found to be illegal this country is sent packing all government aid requires proof of ID, green card and citizenship!
9. Anyone found hiring illegals and runs a business are closed, fined and subject to jail time.
10. End NAFTA, CAFTA and restore United states first trade policies.

I have a better idea. Instead of letting the Wal-Marts of the world go down to Mexico and bring truck-loads of illegals back, pay them 1/2 minimum wage and show them how to pick up Oregon Trail, EBT, WIC, SSI, and every other service; how about all employers that command a workforce support that workforce's social needs. Either they pay a living wage or they pay into a fund that can provide housing, healthcare, etc. They can afford it. If they can pay a CEO 20M/yr they can afford it.

11. Cut all government spending by 50% on every program and don;t pick and choose 1 bill does it all.

Are oil subsidies, bio-fuel subsidies and defense spending on that list? No? Sorry, FAIL, try again. Include some real money wasters this time.

12. End the Federal Reserve printing of our currency and devalue of our dollar.

What do you know about it?

13. Drill for oil at home open reserves while we build refinery, all oil is sold and made here and not sold off to other countries.

How about we just get off the oil teat. What about that option? Just say no to oil, except for those things where there is no substitute. Your half-ton pickup does not need to run on 87 octane pump gas. It really doesn't. Did you hear me?

14. The most important!! All bills must show constitutional authority to be passed!

Hardly the most important. I am going to insist that you explain what this actually means to you though, since it is so almightily important. Post #15.
