So, the long and short of it is, the document that would settle the issue is not available to the public without Obama himself requesting it. How convenient for Obama, and how interesting that he won't do it.

The state certified birth certificate that was verified by the state and meets all State Dept requirements settled this issue three years ago.

It isn't a new policy. That policy has been in place since 1989.

Since this form was released:

22 years isn't new by any standard.

Oh come on, they've handed out long forms in the
1990's. Who are you kidding.

I lived in Hawaii till 2006. I've asked for a copy my COLB in 1990, 1999, 2006 and in 2010.

Not once did I receive a copy of my long form.

Did you specifically ask for a long form in person and why
are you asking for so many birth certificates
Aren't you the one who said, once you have a passport,
you don't need a BC anymore.

So let me get this straight. You are basically saying in order to prove someone is eligible, you want to see documentation that isn't actually state certified, that doesn't prove they are eligible under the law?? That is what you want to see and you view that as more important than state certified documents that meet federal requirements and prove they are eligible under the law?? Do I understand that correctly??
First of all, a long form BC is certified as the
original.

No - hospitals don't always keep the records. But parents
can request a record of birth there, and many do. And no,
it's not a legal document.

Let's say Arus is running for President (who would vote for Hillary who wanted out of Iraq in 60 days, and then vote for McCain who wanted to be there 100 years and I
was not sure he/she was born in the US. If the only
evidence I received was an abstract COLB, it would not
cut if for me.

That is/was not the case for Obama. That is why folks
are perplexed that he won't show the "original".

I know he cant photocopy it it belongs to
the state of HI.

Again the state of Hawaii does NOT provide the original long form. They do not give it out PERIOD. You have NO OPTION at all to get a certified copy of the long form, same thing here in NY and a number of other states.

And again you are showing you do not have any comprehension of the law whatsoever. A document that is certified by the state and meets all U.S requirements isn't enough proof for you, but a document that actually isn't state certified and doesn't meet all state dept requirements is enough. Do you understand how backwards that sounds??

It shows you have no comprehension of the law AT ALL.

Hawaii does NOT
