Why aren't they supporting him? Because Obama's the president, of course! If Bush were president, they'd be singing a different tune. National security, patriotism, defeating tyranny and all that.

Hypocrites.

For the same reason conservatives called JFK a "communist" for not calling in air strikes to support Bay of Pigs.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't....

How can any true liberal continue to support Obama?

What happened to closing GTMO? oops

Returning to habeas corpus? oops

Ending renditions? oops

Reforming the Patriot Act? oops

Authorizing the assassination of US citizens abroad? oops

And the list just goes on and on. More can be read here.

At least those on the right will call out their own when they feel their elected officials are no longer representing their conservative ideals. Why don't we hear the same from the left?

Over 100 Tomahawk missiles and B2 bombing runs sounds like the US is heavily involved to me.

The U.S. military said the bombardment so far - a rain of Tomahawk cruise missiles and precision bombs from American and European aircraft, including long-range stealth B-2 bombers - had hobbled Gadhafi's air defenses. More missile strikes overnight did new damage to anti-aircraft sites, the Italian military said.

My Way News - Cruise missile blasts Gadhafi's compound near tent

....and we are still waiting for our president to explain to us why he thinks the United States is justified in spending hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to kill people and blow up buildings in Libya.

Meanwhile.... "The 0ne" is on a working vacation in Rio.

Some actually are starting to complain, but it's a sort of muted harrumph. We certainly are not seeing the spittle-flecked anger, name calling and vitriol against 0bama, that we saw leveled towards Bush, even though in some areas 0bama is worse then Bush. At least Bush made his case to the American people for going to war, and he got approval from the US Congress, 0bama speaks in vague and uncertain terms to the nation, once or twice, and then goes on vacation, just after launching hundreds of missiles and sending in the stealth bombers.

I have heard this rationale before, by folks on the left. Apparently it's okay to invade and bomb another country, as long as you can talk a bunch of other countries to help you? In other words, actions that would otherwise be unacceptable by the left, are deemed appropriate as long as we are a part of a mob?
