Who cares about a bunch of old trailer park geezers who hate diversity and multiculturalism?

Seriously, life goes on. There seems to be one particular demographic who takes issue with it and it's their issue to deal with. They need to step out of their deluded bubbles and accept that the world doesn't revolve around them.

Ironically, you have a bunch of white folks who hate being generalized but seem to enjoy generalizing so easily LOL

Who wants the following?

People who have a culture with values and ideals that are antithetical to your own.

People who support the same failed ideals, ideas, values, and politics that ruined they home nations.

People who do not value and openly reject everything that made this nation great.

People who break laws and pose a very real threat to this nation, its people, its culture, its economy, its Constitution, and its future.

We have enough unskilled, uneducated entitlement voters we do not need more either by legal immigration or illegal immigration that do nothing but harm this nation and create a unbeatable underclass the left can use to ruin this nation.

Yeah change is not always for the better. And as a 23 year I can say I do not trust any real number of my generation to make any massive decision when it comes to our nation after seeing the failure they elected and reelected...

I just realized that this thread is the same one I started three years ago. And after looking back then through now, my feelings HAVEN'T changed. In fact, I'm more hardened in my opinions against "multiculturalism" and "diversity", or at least the version progressives and liberals push.

For those Liberals who are so pro-multicultural, why are you also so PC anal that you want to separate ethnicity? You want everyone put in their own neat little box, and then have the audacity to claim you are the tolerant non-racialists. What a crock!!!

I am a mutt, a true American, and I wouldn't be here if the generations before me didn't get all up into different cultures, literally.
America is basically a country of mutts, and this was very evident even during the days of Anti-Miscegenation laws.

I've been saying this for years. The liberals, particularly the modern day progressives, are the biggest racists of all. From my personal experiences with them to what they push and ignore on their daily agenda, it's been clear to me what their main vision is. And their vision doesn't have most minorities as part of their planned society. As a minority, the most racist whites I dealt with have been ones who swore up and down about how "progressive" they were. The first person in that group of progressives who wants a "multiracial" society instead of a "multicultural" one will be the first one I won't look with suspicion and scorn.

My biggest problem with multiculturalism isn't even the cultural differences within themselves. But a lot of immigrants bring an elitist mentality and cliquish attitude about their culture with them when they arrive to America. They stay to themselves to the point of not including Americans who are opened minded in their circle. And they keep all their old world customs with them, especially the ones they claim caused them to leave their home country in the first place. I would assure you that for myself and the Americans whose words are worth value, they would be more accepting of immigrants if the latter would let down their "ethnic guard" and reach out to their new countrymen. There will be those who are intolerant either way, but those Americans are ones who aren't worth the sweat off an ant's balls.

But as for places that stress a multicultural society vs a multiracial one, look at the "multicultural" cities (SF, Miami, Portland, Boston, Austin, DC, LA, NYC, etc) vs "multiracial" cities (Houston, Charlotte, Sacramento, SD, Phoenix, Las Vegas, The Bay Area outside SF, etc) and you tell me which group of cities are more truly racially harmonious.

There is only real threat to this nation, and it's called right-wing conservatism. Has this hateful ideology ever added anything of value to this great nation? Seriously.

Really?

Are we the ones fighting to keep the borders insecure and the wave of poverty, crime, disease, and collectivism from central and south america pouring over our nation?

Are we the ones demanding we take in more then 1.1,000,000 every year regardless of how much harm it causes this nation?

Are we the ones blocking access and use of America`s vast Oil and Gas reserves and preventing millions of jobs?

Are we the ones trying to close down power plants and raise gas prices while flying around on a private jet to fight "Global Warming" oh I mean "Climate Change"?

Are we the ones forcing millions of kids into failed schools?

Are we the ones telling others they are "racist" for wanting to live around people that look like them, have the value, culture, values, and politics yet you people do it all the time and say nothing about it?

Are we the ones trying to limit, infringed and abolish the 2nd Amendment while living in gated community and country estates with an army of armed guards?

We built this nation, We defend this nation, We have been the driving force behind it...What has your sick, twisted, perverse ideology ever done?

Limited Civil Rights.
Stagnated standards of living while making the cost of living sky rocket.
Violated State and National Sovereignty.
Used Immigration as a weapon to destroy the America voter and the middle class.
Used Regulations and Taxation to drive businesses overseas and stagnant growth and development.
Using poverty intention created to create a class of dependent underclass that will vote them into off into perpetuity.
Labeling anyone who can see this for what is as a "racist" or any number of of baseless character assassination.

You have taken a Constitutional Government and ran it into the ground in a 100 years time you and your counter parts the Neo Cons.

I liked this argument better the first time I heard it, when it was being used in the late 1840s by the Know-Nothings against the Irish. The Know-Nothings had a panache and style that modern day far right extremists just seem to lack.

Yeah the Irish did this thing called "legally" immigrating.

We also did not have a welfare system and elected officials who use it and other handouts to buy voters.

The Irish and modern day immigration and multiculturalism are total non sequiturs.

There was no way to illegally immigrate at the time. For someone who overuses the term "non sequitur" you just provided a great example of one.

Actually, at the time, they literally bought votes.

And the arguments that are being used on this thread are nearly the exact same ones used against every other immigrant group that ever came here. Just more crude.
